Todd Headley is the Chief Executive Officer of the Zucker Institute for Innovation Commercialization. He has over 20 years of experience in licensing, business development, and startup formation within academic institutions. Additionally, he has held positions in corporate development, product development, and manufacturing at both large and small biopharma companies.
Previously, Headley served as the president of CSU Ventures and the vice president of the Colorado State University Research Foundation. In these roles, he led a team focused on intellectual property management, licensing, and university startups, with the goal of generating impact and value from research conducted at Colorado State University. His prior experience in academic commercialization also includes work at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Iowa State University.
Currently, Headley is pursuing an EdD in Leadership and Innovation at NYU. He received his MBA from Iowa State University and his undergraduate degree in microbiology from South Dakota State University.
